United Russia has identified the main priorities of budget policy

A meeting of the regional political council of the United Russia party was held in Krasnoyarsk. Party members from across the region gathered to discuss budget policy priorities for the next three years.

The principles of forming budgets at all levels for representatives of United Russia remain unchanged, the main thing is the implementation of the people's program, drawn up on the basis of the proposals and wishes of the people.

“Today the budget for 2026 and the planning period 2027-2028 are already on the agenda. I believe that before introducing it, we need to discuss priorities. Parliamentary hearings on the draft federal budget took place last week. The Russian government has created it to be balanced and sustainable. Thanks to this, resources ensure the implementation of tasks related to the achievement of national development goals set by the president. The draft federal document takes into account party initiatives and the provisions of the people's program of United Russia. We must preserve these same priorities in the regional budget and ensure funding for all areas,” noted Mikhail Kotyukov, secretary of the Krasnoyarsk regional branch of the United Russia party, governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, in his speech.

Before the main financial document is considered at a meeting of the regional government and in the Legislative Assembly, party members determined the main areas for which budget funds will be spent. The focus is on the implementation of national projects, social policy, infrastructure development, and support for territories. Thus, 15% of all budget expenditures will be allocated to social benefits, support for families with children, SVO participants and their relatives, and an increase in wages for all public sector employees. The list of construction projects for three years includes 119 objects. These include schools, kindergartens, hospitals, clinics, leisure and sports centers, roads and other social institutions. Almost a third of all expenditures in the region will be directed to the development of territories.

“It is important that the draft budget takes into account the provisions of the people's program of United Russia. Let me remind you that it affects all spheres of life of our fellow countrymen. At the same time, people themselves are involved in the process of its formation, execution and control,” Mikhail Kotyukov emphasized.

Now it will be up to deputies from United Russia at all levels to defend expenditure items related to the people’s program when working on the budget. In addition, party members will monitor the effective spending of budget funds. This task faces the entire party vertical from the State Duma to local governments.

Chairman of the Legislative Assembly, head of the United Russia faction Alexey Dodatko: “Traditionally, approaches to budget planning and instructions for the United Russia faction in the regional parliament and our deputies in local governments are formed on the platform of the regional political council. This is not the first year we have been implementing this practice. For us, budget planning tools are one of the key ones from the point of view of implementing the people's program. By forming majority factions in the Legislative Assembly, in local councils, we guarantee that those priorities that were determined together with the people, included in the people's program, will be provided with appropriate budget funding. Therefore, we always carry out such a reconciliation, determine the current conditions and budgetary possibilities in which the people’s program is being implemented, and identify areas that require adjustments and special attention. This conversation is very important for us. First of all, from the point of view of responsibility to our voters.”
