The driver was convicted of a “drunk” accident with the dead and injured in the south of the Krasnoyarsk Territory (video)

In Minusinsk, Krasnoyarsk Territory, a court found a 33-year-old man guilty of violating traffic rules while intoxicated, which negligently resulted in the death of a person.

Everything happened in early November 2024 in the village of Bystraya. It was established that the driver of the Nissan Largo drove into oncoming traffic, where he crashed into a Toyota Corsa with taxi markings. Driver of the second car I was not on shift, but was traveling with my family on personal business.

As a result of the accident in the Toyota, the driver and two passengers were injured, and a 20-year-old passenger died from her injuries.

The police found that the driver of the Nissan Largo was intoxicated – the examination showed 1.05 mg/l. According to paragraph “a” of Part 4 of Art. 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, the court sentenced him to imprisonment for a period of 5 years 5 months to be served in a penal colony.
