In the Sverdlovsk district of Krasnoyarsk on a section of the street Sawmillers – from Lazurnaya to Parovoznaya – will be completely prohibited from passing heavy vehicles.
In addition, traffic on Sawmill and Electric Streets will become one-way. It will be possible to drive there only according to the map.
The mayor's office explained that such decisions were developed and adopted for the comfort of residents:
“The main goal is to ensure safety. Residents of the private sector in this part of the city experienced great discomfort from the movement of heavy trucks along a fairly narrow roadway, which is located literally next to the windows of their houses. Trucks created noise and interfered with the passage of passenger cars”.
New traffic management scheme Sawmillers and Electricians streets will start working from October 20 in constant mode.
