The court sent two Krasnoyarsk 8th graders to a correctional colony for beating people in the Oktyabrsky district.
It all happened this year on one February evening. A drunken group of schoolchildren and their adult friends went for a walk in the Uyutny square. There, one of the teenagers, without a word, attacked the stranger and began beating him, then two older comrades joined him.
“The victim tried to escape, but the crowd chased him, spreading the chaos into a neighboring yard. A young couple spent their evening there. The aggressors chose the guy as their new victim and began beating him with their hands and feet. The frightened girl was able to call her parents, but this did not bring the attackers to their senses. They took out a dummy pistol, threatening and provoking a new fight. The situation was resolved only when the girl’s father pulled a bat out of the car. Then the hooligans ran away. They were detained that same evening,” the prosecutor’s office said.
In court, one of the teenagers fully admitted his guilt, the second tried to partially justify himself.
For hooliganism, perfect by a group of persons (Part 2 of Article 213 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation), one received 10 months, the other – 1 year and 3 months of imprisonment to serve the sentence in a correctional colony.
The criminal case against their adult friends has been separated into separate proceedings.
