Regional rescuers provided assistance to fishermen in trouble at the Krasnoyarsk Reservoir.

On the evening of October 12, three men in a boat went out into the water area, but in the area of Sarzhakovo Bay, the ship’s engine broke down, so the men landed on the shore, where they spent the night.
Early this morning, employees of the Divnogorsk search and rescue team found the fishermen and brought them to the unit. The men refused medical attention.
Let us recall that earlier the Ministry of Emergency Situations warned that in October there remains a danger of accidents in the region’s waters due to the population’s failure to comply with safety rules, including when using small vessels while fishing and crossing river waters outside officially open crossings. In the northern regions, accidents with ice detachment involving people and equipment are possible.
Analyzing the statistics of previous years, rescuers predict the greatest risk of incidents with loss of life on the rivers Yenisei, Chulym, Valek, Angara, Mana, Kan, Velmo, Podkamennaya Tunguska, Nemka, Kheta, as well as on lakes Polone, Pyasino, Khargy, Vodopyanikha.
Before going out into the waters of rivers and lakes, rescuers strongly recommend that residents of the region check the serviceability of the watercraft and wear a life jacket.
