A 42-year-old man from Drăgoeni, Gorj County, hit his ex-wife on Sunday, October 12, in the head area, and the daughter, being detained by police for 24 hours. The two victims needed medical care.

The Gorj County Police Inspectorate announced on Monday that police officers from the Târgu Jiu Municipal Police detained for 24 hours and introduced in the IPJ Gorj's detention and preventive arrest a 42 -year -old man from the locality, suspected of family violence.
“A day ago, the police were notified by the call 112 by a 45-year-old woman, from Drăgoeni, about the fact that, while at home, following a spontaneous conflict, she was hit with a blunt object, in the head area, her ex-husband, aged 42, when their daughter intervened, with the one, at the level of the left hand“, IPJ Gorj said.
The two were transported to the hospital for medical care, writes news.ro.
In this case, risk assessment forms were drawn up for the two women, being issued a provisional protection against the 42 -year -old man.
