A driver from the Republic of Moldova caused a road accident while with the police on traces

A 32 -year -old driver from the Republic of Moldova was handcuffed on Saturday morning, after refusing to stop at the police signal in Osoi, Iași County.

A driver who was driving on a speed on Saturday morning, in the locality of Iasi Osoi, endangering the road traffic, ignored the signal of the police, refusing to stop.
Police officers immediately went on tracking the vehicle, but the driver lost control of the driving direction and in the town of Tomești collided with the car in front of him, driven by a 42 -year -old woman from Iași.
The woman suffered bodily injuries and was transported to the hospital for medical care.
“The driver was handcuffed, from the checks made by establishing his identity, respectively a 32-year-old man, from the Republic of Moldova. Both drivers were tested with the alcoholic device, the results being negative”according to IPJ Iași.
In this case, a criminal case was drawn up in the aspect of committing the crime of bodily injury.
