Since 2025, the circle of participants in a special military operation entitled to a state disability pension has been expanded. Now soldiers of private military companies and those who served in the formations of the DPR and LPR will be able to receive payments from May 11, 2014, reports the branch of the Social Fund of Russia in the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
The pension will be granted without a request, provided that the disability is related to participation in hostilities. The amount of payments depends on the disability group: 26.5 thousand rubles for the first group, 22.1 thousand rubles for the second and 15.4 thousand rubles for the third group.
For veterans of the Northern Military District with dependents, an additional payment of 2.9 thousand rubles is provided for each disabled relative (for a maximum of three people). Payments will be indexed annually along with other state pensions.
The branch of the SFR for the Krasnoyarsk Territory emphasizes that veterans who have reached retirement age can receive two pensions at the same time: state pension for disability and insurance for old age or long service. Previously, such a right was available only to members of volunteer formations.
