A “trough” is being made under the alternate road to Krasnoyarsk Solnechny

Krasnoyarsk residents were told at what stage the construction of a new road from Planet to Solnechny is currently at.

According to the city hall's TG channel “GradVestnik”, the contractor is performing excavation work: forming the “trough” of the road, that is, its foundation. This is done like this: an excavator removes the soil, compacts the bottom of the pit, and then fills it with soil and compacts it layer by layer.

This kind of work goes on along the entire road: from Aviatorov Street to Sokolovskaya Street.

Let us remind you that the construction of the backup road to Solnechny began in September of this year. The future highway with a length of about 4.5 km in Solnechny will run from Gribolevskaya Street along Sokolovskaya and through the Solontsy-2 microdistrict to the Northern Highway, where it will connect with the interchange. It is expected that the road, 4-6 lanes wide, will redistribute traffic flows and relieve traffic on 9 May Street and the Yeniseisky Trakt, which currently serves as the main entrance to the microdistrict.
