In Minusinsk, the store was punished for refusing to accept a torn five -ruble bill

A resident of Minusinsk complained to Rospotrebnadzor at the store, where he did not receive a torn banknote of five rubles. According to the press service of the department, everything happened at the Lisa local shopping point, located in Timiryazev Street.

Experts explained that, according to the Bank of Russia, such a bill is still solvent. The following damage to banknotes are considered to be permissible: pollution, deterioration, tears, scuffs, holes, punctures, extraneous inscriptions, spots, stamps, crumpled or torn angles, edges.
The seller’s refusal to accept such a bill is illegal. The Office of Rospotrebnadzor announced IP Verzilov A. A. a warning about the inadmissibility of violation of mandatory requirements.
