Energy circles have reopened in Krasnoyarsk and the Berezovsky district – this is a career guidance project of Rosseti Sibir for high school students who are interested in exact sciences and want to work in the energy sector in the future. One of them continued to work at the Lyceum No. 1 in the Oktyabrsky district, and the second – at the Beryozovsky school No. 1 named after Zyryanov. This school year, 30 ninth-graders will participate in energy clubs.
Specialists from the branch of Rosseti Siberia – Krasnoyarskenergo attended the opening of energy circles. They told the children about the main directions of the company's work, and also introduced them to professional equipment for electricians, shared the basics of electrical safety and showed how important the profession of a power engineer is.
“The classes are necessary and useful; I want to work in the electrical power industry immediately after college. This is why in-depth knowledge is needed,” shares student of Lyceum No. 1 Zakhar Zubenko.
The educational project has been successfully running for the third year and introduces physics at a more serious level. It also allows you to combine theory with practice: visit existing power industry facilities and study at training sites, acquiring the first professional skills necessary for future engineers and electricians.
The main goal is to awaken high school students’ interest in technical specialties, visually introduce them to the work of power engineers and develop useful competencies, starting from school.
“Classes in energy circles will make the educational process more exciting, enrich children with new knowledge and give future graduates additional advantages when enrolling in targeted training programs. Already today, children are getting a unique opportunity to touch the world of modern energy and consciously choose their future profession,” noted Yulia Kuznetsova, head of personnel management at the Rosseti Sibir branch – Krasnoyarskenergo.
