The management of this ski zone in the Dolomites has announced that from the next winter season, in the period from Christmas to January 5 and during the carnival from February 15 to 22 next year, there will be a limit on skiers on the slopes during the peak hours, i.e. from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The exact ceiling will be developed on the basis of this, as emphasized, currently established “ideal number”, reported the daily “Il Messaggero”.

This means that people who plan to go skiing to Madonna di Campiglio on peak tourist days must secure a place on the slope by purchasing a ski pass online in advance.

It has been clarified that these restrictions will not apply to holders of seasonal and multi-day passes authorizing the use of ski lifts, cable cars and slopes.

People who do not ski will also be able to access the peaks when this limit is reached.

Other solutions are currently being considered, which will enable, among other things, directing skiers to less crowded routes.

Moreover, as reported, the renowned ski resort will return to the “Ski earlier” initiative, under which lifts, cable cars and slopes will be opened in the morning, weather conditions permitting.

The ski season in Madonna di Campiglio will start on November 29.
