A student forest -fire detachment works in the Balakhtinsky district

In the Balakhtinsky district, a second student forest -fire detachment was created in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. This was told in the regional Ministry of Natural Resources and the Forest Complex.

The team of “Fire Border” included students of the Balakhtinsky agricultural technical school. Basically, the guys are conducting active fire propaganda, but they can be involved in extinguishing forest fires – all of them have passed the necessary preparation for this.

“Personally conducted an introductory briefing on fire safety equipment, the ability to handle forest equipment. Our young employees demonstrated all this knowledge and skills during interagency exercises. Together with experienced forest firefighters and colleagues of the interacting departments, they completed all the tasks. They showed themselves very well. I am sure that when extinguishing a real fire they will not be confused and do everything as it should, ”said Eduard Motzku, head of the Balakhtinsky forest fire station.

Getting into a forest fire detachment is not so simple. Candidates are accepted by the indicators in study, good physical form, actively involved in public work. All students are adults, officially employed.

“For mid -level graduates, participation in a forest fire detachment is a great opportunity to look at the team and work. And for us – to train and prepare for the prospect of young specialists. We plan to continue to develop this initiative in the southern and northern directions of the region, ”added Vitaly Prostakishin, director of the regional forest fire center.

In addition to the Fire Border team in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, a student forest firefighting team “Center” of the Divnogorsk College of Forest Technology also works. Its participants are officially employed in the regional forest fire center, can assist in extinguishing forest fires and conduct preventive measures for the population.

Recall that this year the state of the regional forest -fire center was significantly expanded in connection with an increase in the zone of aviation monitoring and extinguishing forest fires in the north of the region. This will help more quickly respond to the occurrence of fires and reduce the areas passed by fire, which involves the national project “Environmental well -being”.
