Costel Gâlcă (53 years old) was brought to Rapid this summer and after the first 12 stages he took Giulesti to the second place in Superliga, notes Digisport.
In the 4 months spent, Costel Gâlcă checked 7 victories, 4 draws and a defeat, the one with Hermannstadt from Giulești, 1-2.
In an interview given to the journalist Digi Sport Bogdan Pop, Costel Gâlcă drew the conclusions after the first 4 months on the bench of Rapid and said why his team needs: constant in defense and attack.
“Rapid takes important steps for a top club in Romania. We have a very good infrastructure. For the future to build a building here, near the land and from my point of view it will be one of the largest clubs in Romania.
Of course, a trophy must be won this season. I have often said that I am satisfied with the attitude, many moments of play but we need constant, both in defense and in the attack.
I was expecting to be up there, but I wish you had more points. We are in a position that gives us the opportunity to fight in the first places. ”Said Costel Gâlcă.
