Adrian Mutu (47 years old) believes that FCSB and CFR Cluj will qualify for the Super League play-off. Just 10 days ago, the former striker of the Romanian national team had a different opinion.

After the impressive streaks of victories, the top two ranked from the end of the previous season have moved closer to the top six positions.

Adrian Mutu: “I think that FCSB and FCSB will enter the play-off, and FC Argeș will be the last”

“I was looking at the entire ranking and it seems to me that there is a fight in all areas, that is, everywhere it is an incredibly beautiful and close fight. Because now, with FCSB's victory with Oțelul, I see teams like CFR and FCSB, who are on 7th and 8th, together with Botoșani, FC Argeș and U Cluj, who are fighting for a place in the play-offs.

So, it's an incredible fight! None of them are allowed to make wrong steps, they meet each other. So, it will be a very nice fight. But, I think that CFR and FCSB will enter the play-off, and FC Argeș will be the last”, said Mutu, according to fanatik.ro.

At the beginning of February, Mutu did not give many chances to FCSB and CFR Cluj.

“I think we will have a historic season, without FCSB and CFR Cluj in the play-off. I think we will have a historic season, even if I don't want it, because a play-off with FCSB and CFR is more spectacular. It's a big chance for Craiova in the play-off, without the two. In order for FCSB and CFR to qualify, they have to beat everything, otherwise they have no chance,” said Mutu on Digi Sport, according to primasport.ro.
