The CPK Central Port (CPK) and Korea National Railway (KNR) have signed a cooperation agreement, which aims to exchange knowledge and experience in the area of ​​high -speed railway network (KDP) in Poland – CPK said in a message.

“The Central Communication Port and Korea National Railway (KNR) have signed a cooperation agreement. Company (Korean – PAP) responsible, among others, for the construction of a new airport and high speeds (KDP) and the manager of the railway infrastructure in South Korea will focus on the exchange of knowledge and experience for the development of the KDP network in Poland,” says CPK.

KNR deals with planning, construction, modernization and maintenance of railway infrastructure as well as the implementation and management of projects related to KDP, conventional lines and freight transport.

The agreement with CPK will concern, among others maintenance of tunnels and switches and diagnostics of railway lines.

In 2021 CPK signed an agreement with the Korean manager of the Incheon airport, one of the largest airports in the world, for advisory services. In mid -2023, the Korean Korea National Railway consortium and Dohwa Engineering won the tender for the design of the 70 -kilometer section of the KDP between Katowice and the state border.
