North Korean leader Kim Jong was attended by a large military parade in which the new intercontinental ballistic missile was presented in front of the international dignitaries, Kcna's official press agency, taken over by Reuters, reported on Saturday.
The parade, which started on Friday night, marked the 80th anniversary of the workers' party foundation and came after other Thursday festivities.
Chinese Prime Minister Li Qiang, a Russia delegation led by former President Dmitri Medvedev, as well as the head of the Vietnam, to Lam, were among the foreign dignitaries present at Phenian for anniversary.
Within the military parade, North Korea, a country that owns nuclear weapons, presented the most advanced HWASong-20 intercontinental ballistic missile, described by KCNA as “the most powerful nuclear weapons system”.

The Hwasong intercontinental ballistic rocket series gave North Korea the ability to target any point on the US continental territory, but there are questions about the sophistication of its guide system to reach a target and the capacity of the ogiv that it transports to resist the reintegration into the atmosphere.
“Hwasong-20 represents, for the moment, the peak of North Korea ambitions in terms of long-distance nuclear launch capabilities. We can expect the system to be tested before this year,” said Ankit Panda, from Carnegie Endowment for International Peace.
“The system is probably designed for the transport of several focus … multiple focoasa will increase pressure on existing US missile defense systems and will amplify what KIM considers to achieve significant deterrent effects,” added the expert.
At the military parade, Kim gave a speech in which he expressed “warm encouragement” for the North Korean troops in operations abroad, adding that the heroism of his army will not only be seen in the defense of North Korea, but also in the “outposts of socialist construction”, according to KCNA.
“Our army should continue to grow and become an invincible entity that destroys all threats,” Kim said.
Kim also had discussions with Medvedev on Friday, who stated that the sacrifice of the North Korean soldiers fighting for Russia in its Ukraine military campaign proves confidence in the relations between the two countries.
Kim told Medvedev that he hopes to continue strengthening cooperation with Russia and closely engaged in various shifts to achieve common goals, Kcna informed.
