

On October 7, UZ informed about changes in the movement of electric trains due to the night shelling of the Poltava region. There was talk about the cancellation of some flights and limited routes. Vice-Prime Minister for Reconstruction – Minister of Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine Alexey Kuleba reported that in In Poltava, a locomotive depot, a power supply station and traction substations came under fire. Trains were damaged and fires broke out.
During the day on October 8, trains No. 6572/6654 “Poltava-Yuzhnaya – Berestin – Orilka”, No. 6356 and No. 6353 on the Poltava-Yuzhnaya – Ogultsy route will not operate in the region.
“We are working on a full-fledged resumption of commuter flights in the region; we will inform you about updates as quickly as possible,” the message says.
