“A month before the heart attack, your body gives you signals. Please pay attention to them, because it is they who can save your life,” the doctor warned.
1. Frequent nausea and dizziness
Such bells from the body are sometimes mistakenly associated with heat, stress or exhaustion.
“If you have no clear reason, such as pregnancy, side effects from drugs or manifestation of infection, it's time to consult a doctor,” the doctor warned.
2. Strong fatigue and constant headaches
A common but underestimated sign is severe fatigue and constant headaches.
A dangerous sign of an approaching heart attack is constant fatigue, which does not pass even after rest. If it is accompanied by a headache, which over time intensifies, this can be an early sign of heart disease.
3. Numbering on one side of the body
“Do you suddenly feel that your hand, leg or half of your face is numb? This can be a decrease in blood flow or even a sign that your heart does not work properly,” the doctor explained.
Reducing blood flow to the heart can manifest by numbness of the limbs.
If numbness extends to one side of the body, this is a frequent symptom of a stroke. It is also a consequence of the interruption of blood flow to the brain.
4. Sudden change of vision
Double vision, blur or sudden loss of focus with one eye can indicate blockage of a blood vessel. This is a signal that a person needs emergency help.
Such a feeling is described as a “curtain falling on one eye”, it arises due to the fact that blood flow disorders form blood clots or plaques that affect the retina or visual centers of the brain.
