Detained by Israel, Franciszek Sterczewski reached Athens. He posted an entry

“I report that after six weeks of travel, two drones attacks, intercepting Israel's occupation forces and five days in custody, we live. Although slightly tired, we are all, healthy and constantly determined to continue to fight for free Palestine” – the politician began his entry.

He added that “it is an honor to be a drop of this great wave of solidarity.” He also emphasized that he hopes that “politicians will also stand with society and begin to counteract this barbaric state, which Israel became and the genocide they made.”
Franciszek Sterczewski further reported that he is currently in Athens.
“We ask for a moment of patience. If we eat something, cool down, I will let you know what to do next and when we return to the Commonwealth. How much do I miss knowing and the rest of Poland? There is no such measure, weight, or scale that could describe it” – summed up the MP, ending with “let Free Palestine live”.
Humanitarian action with the participation of Poles
The Humanitarian Flotilla headed to the Gaza Strip was intercepted last week in international waters by the Israeli Navy. 42 ships were detained and their crews were brought to Israel. Among the detainees were three Poles, including MP Franciszek Sterczewski.
On Monday, the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported that 171 detained participants of the Humanitarian Flotilla to the Gaza Strip were deported. Later that day, Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski, said that Polish citizens from the Sumud Flotilla landed in Athens.
Rafał Piotrowski, spokesman for Global Movement is Gaza Poland, told PAP that three Polish participants of the Humanitarian Flotilla will probably return to Poland no earlier than on Wednesday.
