Direct train Bucharest – Kyiv, starting October 10th. How much is a ticket to the sleeping wagon

CFR Călaturi announces the launch of an international train directly between Bucharest Nord and Kiev, starting with October 10, 2025. The route will include stops in Ungheni and will allow the train without train exchanges.

According to a press release sent on Monday by CFR Călaturi:

• International Train IR 99/401: Kiev (departure 06:30) – Bucharest North (arrival 06:47), circulates starting with 10/11.10.2025;
• International Train IR 402/100: Bucharest North (departure 19:10) – Kiev (arrival 19:34), circulates starting with 11/12.10.2025.

The price of a ticket to the sleeping wagon, with four beds in the cabin, is 73.4 euros for the Bucharest North – Kiev route.

CFR Călaturi, the national railway operator of passengers, carries out public transport by rail and thus facilitates the direct connection between the capital of Romania and the capital of Ukraine.
