The prosecutor's office of the Krasnoyarsk Territory prevented the fuel crisis in Turukhansk. The situation was told in detail about the situation in the press service of the supervisory authority.
According to law enforcement officers, since January this year, AI-92 gasoline was absent in the territory of the Turukhansky district in free sale. At the same time, the administration of the municipality was inactive and did not fulfill its direct duty to organize regular and uninterrupted supply of the population with fuel.
The necessary reserve of gasoline was not formed, it was also not provided with its timely delivery within the framework of the Northern Formation.
“Such a situation created a threat to the normal life of people, the work of utilities and emergency services. The prosecutor’s office, acting ahead of schedule, announced the chapter a warning about the inactivity of inaction and obliged to provide residents and special services with fuel until the end of navigation, ”the department said.
The head of the district tried to challenge this decision in court, denying his competence. However, the court, completely agreeing with the position of the prosecutor's office, recognized the preventive measure of the prosecutor legal and reasonable.
The judge confirmed that the municipality should not stand aside when the life of the whole area is threatened.
The situation remains under the control of the prosecutor's office.
