Dacia launches a new model at the beginning of this week, Dacia Hipster, a small electric car, only 3 meters long, smaller and even cheaper than Dacia Spring. The announced price is 15,000 euros, and an official announcement on this model is to be made on Monday, October 6th. Until then, the car was presented at an advertising event in Paris.
“The robust hipster concept represents the accessible vision of Dacia for a fully electric future.
The new car measures only three meters long, but it crushes four seats inside it. And the hard appearance of 4×4 is also reflected inside: the driving position is approximately at the same height as at the Bigster SUV, to give the occupants a safe perspective on the road.
The most convincing statistics is that Hipster weighs only 800 kg, a massive 20% discount compared to the 3.7 meter Spring electric model. Part of this weight economy comes from a properly sized battery. Hipster would have an autonomy of about 100 km ”, according to autoxpress.co.uk.

Hipster is the type of electric vehicle that manufacturers could produce for the new “e-decar” of affordable small cars, which are to be introduced in Europe.

Designed for daily use, it can be connected to a regular household outlet. Two loads per week provide sufficient autonomy for daily trips.
The sub-a concept is practical for daily use, due to the generous interior space in relation to its dimensions and modular design of the folding rear seat.
