I no longer drink tea with a taste of lime: I poured it for 20 minutes – and the scale dissolves itself

When the kettle begins to make noise, the water smells of lime, and at the bottom there is a white plaque, it seems that it is easier to take and buy a new one. Vinegar stinks, citric acid does not always cope, and boiling with soda is useless.

But you can deal with the problem much easier. Enough citric acid and water.

What will be needed:

Citric acid – 2 tablespoons
Water – 1 liter
Soft sponge or rag (for final wiping)

How to make:

  • Pour citric acid into the kettle.
  • Pour water to the maximum mark.
  • Turn on and let it boil.
  • As soon as it boils, turn off and leave for 15-20 minutes.
  • Drain the solution, rinse the kettle with warm water and wipe with a soft sponge. The scale will lag behind itself, even from hard -to -reach corners.

Lemonic acid gently dissolves lime coating, does not scratch the metal and does not leave. Unlike vinegar, after it the kettle does not smell with acid.

This method is suitable for electric and ordinary teapots of stainless steel, glass and plastic (except aluminum). Do this once every 1-2 months, and the kettle will serve for years.
