In the years 2023 and 2024, students' demand for tutor increased significantly. They are used by, among others High school graduates preparing for the secondary school -leaving examination. According to “Good Morning TVN”, as much as 75 percent Students of recent high school classes admitted that they used the help of tutors during their education.

Interestingly, only students with learning difficulties, but also those who strive to achieve the highest results at the high school graduate are not deciding on tutoring. For many, this is a way to increase your chances of getting to prestigious universities. However, you have to take into account that additional lessons are a considerable expense.
The annual list of the e-Korepetycja.net portal shows that prices for additional learning are still going up. According to the creators of the report, the highest rates are in force for hybrid classes combining a full -time form with online teaching. “High prices can be a challenge for many families that must take into account these expenses in their budget. The prices of tutoring in other subjects have also increased, which means that additional lessons are becoming more and more financial burden” – state the authors of the report.
More expensive in larger cities. That's what you have to pay for 60 minutes of mathematics
The report also indicates that the most expensive items include computer science, higher mathematics and physics. In 2023, the average cost of 60 minutes of tutoring in higher mathematics exceeded PLN 100. Mathematics lessons for primary and high school students cost about PLN 70 per hour. Preparation for exams was associated with an expense of up to PLN 90 or 110 for 60 minutes of classes.

It is worth remembering that prices for 60 minutes of additional classes depend not only on the subject, but also on the city and teacher qualifications. What does it look like in individual Polish centers? As data on Polish, mathematics and English from Koereptycja.pl and Korpetycje24.com show, prices go up compared to previous years.
In the case of Polish in Wrocław, we will pay on average from 60 to 150 PLN, in Warsaw from 70 to even 200 PLN, in Krakow from 50 to 150 PLN. In Poznań, the price range is PLN 40-150 per hour, and in Łódź the most expensive tutoring costs from 35 to 130 PLN. In smaller cities, these amounts will be lower, e.g. PLN 55 in Toruń or PLN 71 in Częstochowa.

And mathematics? In Warsaw and Krakow for 60 minutes of tutoring you have to pay from 50 to 200 PLN, in Poznań from 35 to even 180 PLN, in Łódź from 40 to 140 PLN. In Wroclaw, we will pay from 40 to even 180 PLN per hour of additional mathematics. In Lublin, we will pay about PLN 60 for 60 minutes of classes, and in Radom already 73 PLN.
In the case of English, prices are as follows: from 60 to even PLN 240 in Warsaw, from 40 to 150 PLN in Krakow and from 50 to 120 PLN in Poznań. In Wrocław, the price range is PLN 60-120, and in Łódź it is PLN 40-160. In the city of Olsztyn, the cost of tutoring from English is about PLN 60.
