Baking silicone forms can distinguish toxic substances

Silicone forms for baking can pose a potential danger to health, releasing toxic chemical compounds when heated. This conclusion was reached by experts of the Ministry of Health of Canada during a recent study.
According to the Ural Meridian IA, scientists found in silicone forms of 25 types of cyclic silovsans – substances that migrate into pastries at high temperatures and are released into the air. The most dangerous are the heavy conventors (D7-D16), which are actively moving from material to food.
Experts note that the amount of harmful substances secreted is reduced when the forms are repeated. However, the toxicological danger of many Sloksans, which are widely used not only in the production of kitchen utensils, but also in cosmetics, medicine and construction, is still not well studied.
To assess the real effect of these substances on human health, additional studies are necessary.
