Petra Fiali's government He leaves defeated. This was visible in all pre -election models, so it was not a surprise. The slight post -war offices had such a difficult situation. The combination of the Russian war with Ukraine, inflation, energy crisis and changes in the world order brought too many problems at once. The patience of society towards politics is getting smaller, and in the day of social media it is very easy to arouse negative emotions. It was difficult to avoid the massive SPD campaign, Staczilo! And ano.
At the same time, the government was difficult to find an understandable message that would go beyond the concerns related to Babisz and SPD leader Tomio Okamura. Thus, he seemed to emphasize that he had not been successful because he had nothing to refer to. Despite all mistakes, the government conducted the Czech Republic for a difficult period with honor and significantly raised our credibility abroad. In addition, it will transfer the country to the next government when he experiences economic growth and low inflation. Most likely, the cream is drunk by Babisz.
Another weakness of the SPULO coalition was the lack of new, expressive faces, and at the same time the void of traditional faces. It started with a scandal related to the Bitcoins of Pavel Blazek, who cost him a career. Now the voters sent Zbynek in their votes outside the Parliamentary Chamber. People often marked the younger generation on the voting cards.
However, the question arises whether the government would get more votes if it did everything correctly. The classic democratic block has more votes than four years ago. Only this year the election attendance was higher and less votes were lost. This is confirmed by the fact that Populist currents in the Czech Republic are slightly stronger than traditional.
For the Czech Republic, the good news is that extremists from Staczilo! They did not get to the parliament. However, it is very likely that they will not disappear from the political scene. Another pro -Russian SPD party is weaker than the polls indicated, but its meaning will probably increase significantly, because Babisz will need Okamura. We will have the first government to which extremists will probably enter.
“Babisz will be difficult to maneuver”
So what will happen to the Czech Republic now? Although the move is a dominant player, he is completely dependent on drivers and SPD. Babisz is very close to fulfilling his dream of a minority government. Drivers are a small and new party, which, if he enters the government with Babisz, will play a second violin, and at the same time will be responsible for everything. Perhaps it will come to the conclusion that for them a better solution will be to support ano from parliamentary benches.

Okamura claimed that he wanted to enter the government, but he is a businessman, so you can get along with him. The question is rather how long the SPD club stays together because it consists of several parties and people who are unpredictable.
Babisz will be difficult to maneuver between a responsible approach to internal and foreign policy, which is demanded by some of his voters and critics, and what SPD will want to push through. And in many respects, also drivers, whose views we actually know nothing.
Also in speeches after the election, Babisz spoke against Brussels, like drivers and SPD, so you can expect weakening a bright position, which made the Czech Republic credible to our partners. We must not forget that the leader Ano has repeatedly and very unceremoniously attacked the chairwoman of the European Commission, and his party is a member of the patriots faction for Europe, which associates anti -European forces in the European Parliament.
All three groups also agree in opposition to public media, which currently threatens the merger and change of financing so that they are more dependent on politicians. NGOs are also threatened.
In the case of Babisza, it is difficult to predict the further development of the situation, because it is difficult to determine its value system. Changes opinions depending on the needslet's hope that the border is actually considerations about the Czech Republic from the EU and NATO. At least today. But how will he behave towards Ukraine? After the election, he repeated that he would end the Czech ammunition initiative. What will happen next? Will we clearly take on the side of Ukraine? Will he want to make us another Slovakia and Hungary? So a country where you can't rely on?
“It will not be easy four years”
It is important not only that Andrej Babisz returns to power. It is important what will happen now in a democratic opposition camp. The election result of the Soup is not good, although in Czech conditions everything above 20 percent. It is a decent result. In 2010, the Czech Social Democratic Party (CSSD) won the election with a result of 22.08 percent, and three years later the same party won with a result of only 20.45 percent. However, this is undoubtedly a failureand the success of a competitive party is so significant that there will be voices demanding the resignation of Fiali and maybe he will be responsible.
Would that be good? The decision belongs to him, but the departure of Fiala significantly would weaken the democratic opposition. Over the years of managing the government, he learned a lot, during the campaign he showed rhetorical skills, and in basic issues he is in favor of the principles of an open and democratic country.

What is more important, however, there is no one who would match his rank. The TOP 09 party does not even have a certain chairman, because Market Pekarov Adamova ends his term. People are in a visible decrease in form. However, the SPUL Coalition is primarily a Fiali project, and his departure from the position of the President of the OPE may threaten cooperation.
The fragmentation of forces in the face of such a dominant position ano raises considerable concerns. Therefore, be careful when making decisions regarding further actions.
We are really in a very complicated period, in which everyone must be careful. Politicians, but also civil society. It will not be easy four years. Babisz He certainly drew conclusions And he knows how to better secure your power. Like Donald Trump during his second term.
