Prince William announced the introduction of changes when he became a king

The successor of the British throne, Prince William, announced that he plans to introduce changes when he became a king – BBC said on Friday, citing a conversation of the future monarch with actor Eugene Levy in one of the programs in Apple TV.

When asked about the future role of the king, Prince of Wales replied that “changes are in his set.” – This is what excites me – think about the possibility of making some change. Not exaggerated radical, but I think about changes that in my opinion must occur – he said without explaining what they would apply to.

In the conversation, William emphasized the importance of tradition, but at the same time he noted that he was not afraid to ask questions about the importance of the monarchy nowadays. He announced that “he wants to create a world in which his son will be proud of what he is doing.” The eldest son, Prince Jerzy, who celebrated his 12th birthday in July, will probably become his successor. The second son of William, Prince Louis, is seven years old, and his daughter, Princess Charlotte – ten.

The successor of the throne admitted that his children did not have cell phones. Thanks to this, the prince wants to protect them against situations related to the pressure and interest of the press, which he experienced as a child with his brother Harry, Prince Sussex, and mother, Princess Diana.

In response to the question whether he thought about becoming a king, William announced that “this is not the thought he wakes up every morning.”

– You can attach any labels and roles that are associated with this, but if you are not faithful to yourself and what you represent, what you believe – then, in fact, it does not matter who you are. It can lose you, “he said.

– I seriously approach my roles and duties, but it is important not to feel that you belong to others, because you must be the owner of yourself – he added.

The British press emphasized that an interview with a member of the royal family, given to the media, is a very rare situation. The conversation did not raise issues regarding William's family conflict with Prince Harry.
