Former Deputy Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation Pyotr Bobylev was detained in Moscow for attacking a courier — Shot
He threw a bottle of champagne at the delivery man's head. The 33-year-old courier said that yesterday at about eleven o’clock in the evening he issued an order and was driving in a company car along the yard on Frunzenskaya Embankment, and a couple was walking towards him – a man and a girl.
According to the courier, they were drunk and were carrying a bottle of champagne in their hands. When the courier caught up with the pedestrians, the man started yelling at him because he had not turned on his headlights and almost hit them.
The dialogue did not work out – the official began to spit at the window, and then threw a bottle at the glass. Shrapnel hit the driver's head, and at the hospital his ear was sewn up.
Bobylev now heads the Department for Coal Industry Development in the Ministry of Energy.
