The advertising shield fell on two women at the Airport of Sharm-Esh-Sheikh during a landing on the DV5270 flight to Astana. One died on the spot from the injuries, the second had severe cuts.
According to Mash, the deceased and the victim are citizens of Kazakhstan.
UPD. Foreign Ministry of Kazakhstan:
Yesterday, at the Sharm Esh-Sheikh Airport in the departure zone on passengers waiting for landing on a flight, an advertising shield collapsed. A citizen of Kazakhstan died and two more of our compatriots received easy injuries.
The Minister of Civil Aviation of Egypt took the incident for personal control.
