September 6 marks the anniversary of the Kharkiv counteroffensive, which commenced in 2022 under the command of General Oleksandr Syrskyi. This operation is recognized as one of the most successful and rapid offensive actions carried out by Ukraine’s Defense Forces since the onset of the full-scale invasion. During the operation, Ukrainian troops liberated over 500 settlements, including key locations such as Balakliia, Kupiansk, Lyman, and Izium. The forces pushed the frontline eastward, disrupted enemy logistics, and secured approximately 400 trophies, including weapons depots and tens of thousands of munitions, which were immediately used against the adversary. The Kharkiv counteroffensive exemplified modern maneuver warfare and demonstrated to the world that the Russian army can be defeated. Honor and respect to the Ukrainian warriors!
