Former regional deputy and academician became “honorary citizens of the Krasnoyarsk Territory”

The Legislative Assembly of the Krasnoyarsk Territory adopted a law on the assignment of the highest regional award – the title “Honorary Citizen of the Krasnoyarsk Territory” – Vsevolod Sevastyanov and Vasily Shabanov.
Vsevolod Sevastyanov is a scientist, an economist, a long -term deputy of the regional parliament, who headed the Committee on Economic Development and held the post of deputy chairman of the ZS. Under his leadership, in the 1970-1980s, he was saved from closing and transformed into a leading university in the space industry-the current Siberian State University of Science and Technologies named after academician Reshetnev.
Vasily Shabanov – Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Director of the Krasnoyarsk Scientific Center SB RAS, author of more than 350 scientific works, founder of the largest scientific school in spectroscopy of anisotropic media. For more than 30 years, he has been preparing scientific personnel, teaching at the leading universities of the region.
The speaker of the regional parliament Alexei Dodatko thanked the new “Honorary citizens“ For contribution to the development of science, education and legislation of the region.
