A young woman was attacked at night, on an alley in Sector 2 of the Capital, by an unknown man who put the knife around her neck, the woman managed to escape alive after she fought with the aggressor.
The incident took place on September 23, around 8:50 pm, when the victim was traveling home, on a pedestrian alley, Agerpres reports.
From the images of the cameras located in the area, you can see how a man follows the woman and manages to approach her coming from behind.
According to investigators, he put the woman a knife around her neck, but the young woman managed to escape after grabbing the knife blade with both hands.
“The injured person opposed resistance trying to defend himself, circumstance in which he suffered traumatic injuries in the fingers of both hands, whose gravity was evaluated at a number 11-12 days of medical care, as well as an excoriation located on the neck,” says the Prosecutor's Office next to the Court 2.
The investigators say the woman did not know the man.
The aggressor was caught by the police a week after the attack was committed, and on Wednesday the court issued a preventive arrest warrant on his behalf.
He is a recidivist, he made prison, and in the new criminal case opened on his behalf he is investigated for hitting or other violence.
