The government approved in the extraordinary meeting on Wednesday, by emergency ordinance, the prioritization of investment projects of construction of public or social interest, establishing, among others, that in the case of projects regarding the construction of stadiums these investments will be able to be realized with a co -financing from the beneficiaries of 25% of the total cost of the works, informs Agerpres.

“The financial resources will focus on priority projects that have a high degree of execution and a significant impact, without compromising the major objectives of national development,” said Ioana Dogioiu, on Wednesday night, in a press conference at the Victoria Palace.

Dogioiu said that the national program of constructions of public or social interest will be efficient by sewerage to viable projects with clear and measurable results.

“The projects regarding the sports halls, the cultural settlements, the septic pits and the sewerage systems will be stopped. A series of subprograms will be repealed, including because they double with other programs of the Ministry of Development – it is about cinema rooms, roads of local interest and roads of county interest, real estate with seismic risk. – Rehabilitation blocks of housing located in disadvantaged areas, ”said Dogioiu.

She explained that, regarding the national program “Anghel Saligny” was established, by the GEO approved by the Government, “a deadline for the conclusion of the financing contracts between January 1, 2026 and December 31, 2026”.

“So, December 31, 2026 will be the deadline, starting with January 1, 2026, in which financing contracts can be concluded. Attention, the budget credits related to the financing contracts concluded between January 1, 2026 and December 31, 2026 will be paid starting January 1, 2027, so the following year. Everything that is signed next year will be paid in 2027,” said Dogioiu.

Regarding the projects regarding the construction of stadiums, they will be able to be built only with co -financing from the beneficiaries, and in the case of projects for which the works have not yet started, the financing from the state will not be granted until 2027.

“In the case of the stadiums, these investments will be made only with the participation of the beneficiaries in their financing, through co -financing conventions in the amount of 25% of the total value of the works. In case the execution of the works on the investment objectives provided for in paragraph 1 -the stadiums -can start after January 1, 2027. The public budget.
