Hegset added that, at his direction, the military twice a year should undergo a check for compliance with the requirements for growth and weight.
He also announced new requirements for the appearance, which forbid the military to have a beard and long hair, writes Guardian.
“The era of unprofessional appearance is over. There are no more beards,” Highset said and advised those who cannot pass the physical training test or do not want to shave, find a new profession for themselves.
