“We understand the method perfectly: any sovereign movement must be denigrated, stigmatized, demonized. The formation led by George Simion also transmits that “he did not campaign in the Republic of Moldova and, above all, he did not carry out any campaign action on the day of the vote”.

“I sent only one message – that the destiny of Moldova cannot be broken by Romania and that democracy does not defend itself by labels stuck to order, but by respecting the correct competition. Unionism is not a Russian challenge, as it tries to accredit certain anti -trainers in Bucharest and Chisinau. Unionism is the project of the Romanian soul”.

The Gold Party of the Republic of Moldova took just over 0% of the votes

The Gold Party of the Republic of Moldova obtained a score near irrelevance in the parliamentary elections on Sunday: only 0.10%, ie 1603 votes.

The Alliance Party for the Union of Romanians (Aur) announced on Friday that it is withdrawing from the electoral race in the Republic of Moldova. The political formation did not offer a concrete reason, transmitting in a statement that it does not want to fragment “even more vote”.

“We do not want to be accused of getting involved in the business of another state, even if that state is the second Romanian state and must return home immediately!

Subsequently, the President of Gold Moldova Boris Volosatîi, former gold deputy in the Romanian Parliament, held a press statement in which he denied the announcement made from Bucharest.

PPDA surprise

The Political Party Democracy (PPDA), which did not cross the threshold of 5% in any poll, although it had begun to grow in the preferences of the voters, registered a score of 5.62%.

The Democracy Party Home (PPDA) is led by Vasile Costiuc, professor of history and geography. He came visibly on the political scene in Chisinau this year, when Coștiuc became George Simion's Moldovan partner.

The main partner of this party was gold and his leader, George Simion, who campaigned for “Democracy” on Tiktok and other social networks.

Maia Sandu's party obtained over 50% of votes

According to the results announced Monday by the Central Election Commission (CEC), PAS obtained 50.20% of the total valid votes expressed.

The patriotic electoral block of the Socialists, the Communists, the heart and the future of Moldova (“Patriotic Block”), whose leader is the former socialist president Igor Dodon, ranked second, at a great distance from step, with 24.17%.

In the third position was the “alternative” electoral block of the mayor of Chisinau, Ion Ceban, who obtained 7.96% of the votes.

Renato Usatâi, the former mayor of Balti, entered the Parliament with the formation of “Our Party” – 6.2%. The last party that exceeded the electoral threshold is the Political Party “Home Democracy” (PPDA), led by Vasile Costiuc (5.62%).
