Lucian Visiteu, the mayor of Bacău, revealed that just what he did an important approach to the demolition of the Bacău Municipal Stadium and the construction of a new one on the same site.
Thus, the mayor wanted to open what several locals suspect, namely that after the demolition of the stadium, several buildings will be built on that place.

The stadium has been abandoned for more than a decade, and the City Hall has ordered and paid in the last ten years three feasibility studies, in 2014, 2018 and 2022.
Two days ago, Mayor Lucian Visiteu posted a message on the official Facebook account, stating that the final variant of the Zonal Urbanistic Plan is to reach the table of local councilors, to vote.
Thus, the visit wanted to deny the speculation that the arena in Bacău, after being demolished, would be replaced with a residential assembly.

“But the stadium, when it is done? Look that today we still have a completed stage! Today I am glad to take a step for a new stadium, by making the Zonal Urban Plan for the Olympic Park area, Stadion Bacău.
The final variant of the Zonal Urbanistic Plan is published and is to reach the table of local councilors. What exactly does this step mean? We put an end to the real estate speculation in the middle of Bacau. The PUZ blocks the chaotic development and restores 25,000 square meters back in the community.
Moreover: we increase the green spaces from 109,000 square meters to 127,000 square meters. Near the stadium, which will have an underground parking, will operate training bases, an accommodation and everything around it will complete this goal.
So, an area dedicated to sport and leisure, completed by the swimming pool and the two government buildings: the athletics and Sports Hall. Sports bases and generous green areas – this is the healthy direction for the zero kilometer of our city. And not real estate speculation ”, it is shown in the message posted by the mayor Lucian Visiteu.
