Elections Moldova 2025, without any exit-poll. When will the results be announced

The first results of the parliamentary elections on Sunday in the Republic of Moldova will come from the small sections and are irrelevant, and a picture of the results will be outlined only after the big sections, after 23:00, according to the Chisinau authorities. There will be no exit poll.
At the parliamentary elections 2025 from the Republic of Moldova, the polling stations open on Sunday, September 28, at 7.00 and will close at 21.00.
The only polling company that filed a request to the Central Election Commission (CEC), if not authorized to make polls, so there will be no exit polls. Last time, an exit-poll in the Republic of Moldova was made in 2020, in the second round of the presidential elections. Then, two sociological companies were accredited, the public association “Spero” and “Intellect Group” SRL.
The representatives of the Chisinau Government have transmitted, in a message for Romanian journalists, that the results in the large polling stations will be known around 23.00: “The first results will come from the small and irrelevant sections. A painting at the first stage of the results will be outlined only after the processing of large sections, therefore at 23:00”.
The vice -president of the Central Election Commission, Pavel Postică, explained, at Digi24, how the votes counting process will be carried out and when the first results in the parliamentary elections in the Republic of Moldova will be announced.
According to him, the final results are expected on Monday morning.
“We have the classic counting procedure for paper ballots, which lasts a little longer, but at the same time all the information is transmitted to the central electoral commission and displayed on the Commission's digital platforms. In the morning, we will also have the total results because the last polling stations in the US and Canada will be closed at 6:00 in the morning, ”explained the vice -president of the Central Electoral Commission in Chisinau.
Nearly 3.3 million voters, waiting for the ballot boxes on Sunday in the Republic of Moldova
Almost 3.3 million citizens with voting rights in the Republic of Moldova are expected on Sunday, to designate their new Parliament, which has a four-year term.
For the parliamentary elections 2025 from the Republic of Moldova, the central electoral commission (CEC) ordered the establishment of 2,274 polling stations, of which 301 sections abroad and 12 intended for voters from the localities of Transnistria.
Of the 301 there are polling stations from abroad, most will work in Italy – 75, Germany – 36, France – 26, Great Britain – 24, Romania – 23, United States – 22, Spain – 15 and Ireland – 12. In the Russian Federation only two polling stations will operate.
The Moldovan electoral authorities have decided that the ballots for the voters of the Republic of Moldova should be printed in five languages - Romanian (2,170.039), Russian (649,573, Gagauză (3,400), Bulgarian (1,827) and the Roman language (416). in Russian.
In the electoral race are inscribed:
- 14 political parties: The Action and Solidarity Party (PAS), the Party “Democracy at home” (PPDA), the coalition for unity and well -being (CUB), the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe (ALDE), the European Democratic Party (PSDE), the Moldovan National Party (PNM), the movement “Respect Moldova” (MRM), the Liga City, (Gold), the Alliance “Moldovans” (AM), the “New Historical Option” Party, the Liberal Party (PL), the Christian-Social Union of Moldova (UCS) and our party (PN);
- 4 electoral blocks – the patriotic electoral block of the Socialists, the Communists, the Heart and the Future of Moldova, the “Alternative” electoral block, the electoral block “together” and the union block of the nation;
- 4 independent candidates – Andrei Năstase, Olesea Stamate, Victoria Sanduța and Tatiana Crețu
- The “Moldova Mare” party was eliminated on Friday from the electoral competition, based on a CEC decision.
The election will be declared valid if at least one third of the voters enrolled in the electoral lists will be presented at the ballot box. Access to Parliament is conditioned by the attainment of the electoral threshold established by the legislation: 5% for political parties, 7% for electoral blocks and 2% for independent candidates.
The Parliament of the Republic of Moldova consists of 101 deputies.
