About 100 criminal notifications produced in the Cosmopolis residential complex were claimed to the Stefanesti Police in the first 5 months of this year, announces Ilfov Police. The Ilfov County Police Inspectorate responds to the accusations regarding the number of police officers and claims that at the end of 2024 their number was supplemented, and a large part was distributed to the police station in Stefanesti de Jos, Chiajna and Popești-Leordeni.
“Much of the number of supplemented functions was distributed to the Police Station Stefanesti de Jos, the Chiajna Police Station and the Popești-Leordeni City Police. Specifically, the number of functions in these units was doubled. Also, from the moment of distributing functions, the procedure of the police was initiated,” IPJ Ilfov in a statement sent on Sunday night.
Of the two promotions from the Police Schools Campina and Cluj, 65 graduates (police) were assigned to IPJ Ilfov, of which 58 on the public order and seven on the road police line, to be mainly within the three subunits mentioned. The 65 new police officers will start their activity in the next period, the police say.
“Regarding the criminal situation, at the level of the Stefanesti Police Station, in the first five months of this year, approximately 100 criminal notifications were registered, which would have occurred in the Cosmopolis residential complex.
