Budapest initiated Antify's recognition by the European Union for a terrorist organization, and the EU protects its terrorists – wrote on platform X of the Foreign Affairs Minister of Hungary Peter Szijjarto. The politician commented on the opposition of the EP to the revocation of the immunity of the extremely leftist MEP.

“Hungary initiated Antify in the EU as a terrorist organization, after a similar US decision. Meanwhile, the EP protects a terrorist from Antify Ilamia Salis, who came to Hungary with the intention of ruthless beating people in the streets for their political beliefs,” wrote Szijjjarto.
The message is clear: with an extremist ideological base you can avoid punishment for everything. Shame for Europe – added the diplomat.
The legal committee of the European Parliament commented on Tuesday against the revocation of the immunity of the extreme leftist Italian MEP Salis.
Salis, elected MEP last year, when she was in a Hungarian prison, she is accused of participating in an attack on the far -right demonstrators in Budapest in 2023 and about connections with the anti -fascist group. He denies the allegations, calling them “politically motivated”.
