The Iranian Minister of Foreign Affairs Abbas Aragczi described Israel's attack as a declaration of war against Iran, AFP said, citing the statement of the Iranian ministry of diplomacy.

This term was in Aragczi's letter to the United Nations, in which he “called on the Security Council to immediately deal with this issue.”

Earlier, Aragczi turned to the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (Maea) by Rafael Grossi after Israeli raids on many locations, including the Uranus enrichment plant in Natanz.

In the Araghchi letter, he called Maea to clearly condemn the attack on Iranian nuclear objects. He said that Iran would take special funds to protect his equipment and nuclear materials. At the same time, he warned about a firm response to Israeli attacks.

The head of Iranian diplomacy also called Grossi to immediately convene an extraordinary meeting of the Council of Governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency in order to discuss the situation.

Israel began attacks on Iran on Friday morning, declaring that their goal is nuclear and military facilities.
