Deputy Emanuel Ungureanu, a member of the Health Commission in the Chamber of Deputies, criticized the management of the nosocomial outbreak on Saturday by the management of the “Sf. Maria” Children's Hospital in Iasi, where six children infected with the Bacteria Serratia Marcescens.

The Ministry of Health and the Government of Romania must think a concrete plan to combat nosocomial infections in hospitals, President Nicușor Dan reacted, saying that he is “deeply grieving” what happened in Iasi.
