The head of the Ukrainian Institute of National Remembrance stayed in Przemyśl, where he visited the Ukrainian House and the Ukrainian library. In Pikulice near Przemyśl Ałfiorow he laid flowers at the Ukrainian war cemetery, where they are buried, among others Soldiers of the Army of the Ukrainian People's Republic.

The Polish-Ukrainian Forum of Historians, which was a platform for meetings between researchers from the National Remembrance Institutes of both countries, operated in 2015-2017. As part of the work, five meetings were held in Poland and Ukraine.
