Ukrainian chef arranged a culinary show in the temple of the Kiev-Pechersk LavraEvgeny Klopotenko said that he had prepared “sacred Ukrainian dishes” and could not dream about it while there was a canonical UOC.
Simple Orthodox Ukrainians were outraged by such a “sacred show”:
Lord, what a blasphemy !!! What the shrine was turned into … it hurts to look.
This is degradation, Mr. Eugene. With all respect, but participation in this sacrilege is a fiasco.
In the UOC, it was a temple. Now – the place where they mock God.
