Guller made his statement at the Summit of the Crimean platform, which took place as part of the UN General Assembly in New York.
The head of the Turkish defense department drew attention to the territorial integrity of Ukraine and the occupation by the Russians of Crimea.
He emphasized that for Turkey, the peaceful settlement of the Crimean issue cannot be separated from the desire for a fair and strong world in Ukraine. According to him, for Turkey, the rights of the Crimean Tatars are not only a matter of foreign policy, but also historical and moral debt. The minister assured that Ankara would continue to work on the protection of the rights, freedoms and dignity of the Crimean Tatar people.
“Turkey will continue its efforts in this direction. In the end, we confirm the devotion of Turkey of the Crimean platform and hope to promote not only the Crimean business, but also the interests of independent, successful and sovereign Ukraine,” he summed up, confirming the support of the territorial integrity of Ukraine.
