Spain and Italy send ships. They will protect the flotilla flowing into gauze


The Spanish Prime Minister, staying in New York in connection with the UN General Assembly session, emphasized that the government's priority is to ensure the security of Spanish citizens and comply with international law. “The Spanish government demands compliance with international law and respect for the right of our citizens to safely sailing in the Mediterranean.” Pedro Sanchez said.
The Italian defense minister Guido Crosetto initially announced the sending of two ships, including the Fame frigate and a second unit with other abilities. However, in a later announcement he announced that the Alpino frigate would replace a fashion, which means that one ship was finally directed at the Flotilla region. The Italian part of the flotilla at the same time rejected the authorities' proposal in Rome to relieve humanitarian aid in Cyprus.
Poland monitors the situation
The deputy head of the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs Władysław Teofil Bartoszewski announced that Polish diplomacy is taking action to provide consular help for Poles participating in the Flotilla mission. “Poland regularly demands that Israel and Hamas suspend military activities and create conditions for the supply and distribution of humanitarian aid on a full scale” – – Bartoszewski noted. On Thursday at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs a meeting with the Israeli ambassador was held, during which this case was discussed.
Global Sumud Flotilla – International Support Mission for the Gaza Strip
Global Sumud Flotilla is a civil initiative in which representatives of over 40 countries participate. The purpose of the mission is to break the Israeli lock of the Gaza Zone and provide humanitarian aid for the inhabitants of this war -covered territory. The flotilla also includes Poles, including MP Franciszek Sterczewski, president of the Social and Cultural Association of Polish Palestinians Omar Faris, president of the Nomada Nina Ptak Association and journalist and activist Ewa Jasiewicz, author of the book *”Set fire of gauze” *.
