Leroy Merlin will change its name to Lemana PRO. According to Mash, the head office in France agreed to the rebranding after almost a year of negotiations and only on the condition of a complete redesign: no green color, no corporate triangle or a similar name. Reason: reputational risks. New legal entity: “Le Monlid” instead of “Leroy Merlin”.
Representatives of Lehman PRO say: they will update everything step by step, down to signage, transport, employee uniforms and the very smallest details. This is also the condition of the French. The first points will appear before the end of the year. The philosophy behind the name is:
“Le” – from “Leader” (leadership),
“Ma” – from the French “Maison” (house),
“Na” – from “Nature” (environmental and social responsibility),
“Pro” – focus on professionals in the field of construction and home improvement.
In March 2023, Adeo, which owns the Leroy Merlin brand, transferred the network to Russian management and left the country.
