It's about the type of cherry – it's an early Rivan variety. Burlat variety is much more desirable through fruit growers. Maciej Kmera from the wholesale market in Broniszach told O2 that Rivan now costs PLN 15-20 per kg. There are not many of these cherries this season.

Low prices enjoy customers, but not fruit growers. “This is a spoiling of the market. Maybe this lady has cherries next to the house, she called and came to sell. That is why she does not care about high prices. Unfortunately, this lady of many fruit farmers drops the price” – this is how the fruit -orchard Izabela Kaczorowska, who runs the Woman portal in the orchard, commented in an interview with O2 the price, which journalists saw on the Warsaw Market Square.
