“I want to share the recipe how it is easy to turn a regular piece of fat into a delicious snack, salting it in a marinade with spices. Salt will completely saturate the lard, pepper will give it piquancy, and garlic – that very unique aroma,” the blogger noted.
Ingredients:
- 500 g of fat;
- Seven cloves of garlic;
- 3-4 tbsp. l. salts;
- one bay leaf;
- Three peas of black pepper;
- Three peas of fragrant pepper;
- 1 liter of boiled water.
Cooking
- Cut the lard into two equal parts.
- Pour boiling water into the pan, add salt, bay leaf, pepper and bring to a boil. Then cool it to room temperature.
- Put the fat in a deep container, add chopped garlic, pour a brine, close the container with a lid and put in the refrigerator for four to five days.
- After that, drain the water from the container, and dry the lard with a paper towel and store in the refrigerator, wrapping in parchment or foil.
