Boulevard hard about Trump in the UN. “His Egomania has become dangerous”

It is difficult to say whether the speech of Donald Trump at the 80th session of the UN General Assembly arouses more anxiety about the condition of the US under his rule or about the state of the President's psyche – says on Wednesday the commentator of the American portal Bulwark, Andrew Egger. His Egomania became dangerous – he assesses.

Trump's long and pathetic speech was also ominous. Not only because it was an ideological expose, but also because of the scale of self -worship and autohagiography, exceeding the extremely high level of Egomania and the car from which the president is famous for – writes Egger.

Trump has presented a vision of a world in which his own original variety of “unlawful populist nationalism” is the only antidote on “all the challenges of which the world is now”, and he is “a separate solution to all problems” that bother such structures as the UN – emphasizes the author.

One of the most disturbing fragments of his speech – says Egger – was the boasts of sinking by the American forces of Łódź, which are to transport drugs from Venezuela, which was not proven. “Administration (Trump) still did not present the law of the US law, justification (these attacks)”, and the president only noticed in his speech to the “superior power of the US Army” capable of destroying terrorists and smuggling nets – writes the commentator.

Trump implies that America shows other countries the only right path, which is ignoring “minor scruples”, ordering the use of strength only in accordance with the law – emphasizes Egger.

Another message contained in the president's statements is the need to defend the “English world” against barbarians. America is no longer to lead the world towards cooperation based on the principles of law, nor is it to support such agencies as the UN, but to set an example in the “natural struggle of nations” or defending the “English world” – notes the commentator.

He reminds that Trump said: “Together taken immigration and suicidal green (ecological – PAP) Ideas (…) will be the death of Western Europe.”

The author points out that in relation to the UN, Trump's grievances concerned primarily that many years earlier the organization rejected his offer in the tender for the renewal of its New York headquarters.

In the chaotic, digressive statement of the president, such regrets were adjacent to declarations that he “finished seven wars”, and “everyone thinks” that he deserves a Nobel Prize.

The problem is that “this is not just a fanfaronade”, but a message about the state of the President's mind, who eliminating from his party and the environment of all people incorrect and able to criticize him, created the absolute “cult of the individual” – says Egger.

What's more – he adds – Trump demonstrated that there is no slightest resistance to using the entire machine of his administration to build and defend this worship and equalize bills with those he perceives as enemies, opponents or only critics.

The president is surrounded only by people “kissing him in the ass from sunrise to sunset,” writes Egger.

And this is a dangerous state of affairs – he emphasizes.

Especially since these few critics of Trump, in his opinion, belong to the “dark and sinister conspiracy” financed by enemy elites – adds Egger.

The state of the mind of Trump, who perceives himself as a “ruler of the world”, does not indicate that he “intends to remove his leg from gas,” concludes the author.
